Lufthansa

Flights, check-in and travel details in one place

The Lufthansa app is a travel companion for passengers booking or managing Lufthansa journeys on Android. It covers flight searches, reservations, seat selection, check-in and access to boarding information, making it suited to both occasional flyers and frequent travellers. The app is published by Lufthansa Group and has more than 10,000,000 installs.

Useful tools before and during a flight

After a booking is added, the app brings key trip details together instead of leaving them across separate screens or services. Travellers can review flight status, receive updates about changes such as gate information, and open their boarding pass when needed. Boarding information can also remain available offline, which is useful when mobile coverage is limited inside an airport.

• Search and book Lufthansa flights
• Choose seats and complete mobile check-in
• View flight status and travel updates
• Access boarding passes without an active connection
• Track baggage information after landing
• Manage Miles & More and Travel ID details

Accounts, payments and additional bookings

Travel ID connects the app with saved passenger information and payment options, while Miles & More members can manage their loyalty details from the same account area. Depending on the journey, users can also arrange related services such as car rental, reducing the need to switch between travel apps.

What users think

The Lufthansa app holds a 4.6 out of 5 rating from more than 90,000 reviews. Its main value is practical: it keeps booking details, check-in, boarding access, flight updates and baggage information close at hand throughout the journey. It is most useful for passengers who want one official place to manage Lufthansa travel rather than relying on paper documents or several separate tools.
