An archive of public facts about Android apps, one folder per app, with the gaps marked rather than filled in.
The real experts on an app are the people who make it and the people who use it every day, and Expert App Reviews is neither. What it does is keep their public record in one folder per app: the maker’s description, the rating users gave and the install count the store shows.
No test results, no malware scan, no hands-on notes and no security audit. This site has not run the apps it lists, so a folder cannot say whether an app is safe, fast or right for you. For that, the store listing and your own judgment are better sources.
Folders are built ahead of time as static pages, so each one opens at once and reads the same on any connection.
If a fact in a folder looks wrong, such as a maker’s name or a category, send a note through the contact page and it will be looked at.
Modified builds, unlocked paid features, apps that borrow someone else’s name, and descriptions copied word for word from a store page. The descriptions here are reworded, and the numbers are shown as the store gives them.
Expert App Reviews is kept by the people who run the site. It is not a lab, a newsroom or a panel of specialists, and no page here should be read as the verdict of one.
The people who run it reword the descriptions, keep the folders consistent and take out entries that no longer fit. The expertise in any folder belongs to the people who built the app and the people who rate it.
An archive can be careful without being expert. It only has to say where each fact came from.
